The 29-year-old former Miss World (2000) was honored with 'Woman We Love' reader's choice award at the event.
Priyanka, who rose to fame after being crowned Femina Miss India 12 years ago, said during her acceptance speech, "Femina changed my life forever, I didn't know what to do and Femina told me what to do."
Later she tweeted, "Super evening at the Femina women's awards.thank u guys for yet another readers choice award!bein on a Femina stage again was so nostalgic!"
Priyanka's crepe-de-chine pencil dress hitting just below the knees featured a bold cascading frill cut diagonally across.
The loud color and standout styling of the dress mandated a svelte figure, good height and youthful effervescence and that is just how you would begin to describe Priyanka.
She accessorized with ivory Nicolas Kirkwood peeptoe platforms and statement jewelry comprising oval drop earrings and matching ring in her left hand ring finger.
Her hair was styled in a tousled ponytail with a teased top and middle parted bangs framing her forehead.
She wore smudged kohl liner, mascara coated eyelash extensions and shimmering plum hue lipstick stained her famous pout.
Priyanka's stylist, Ami Patel, told Sawfnews.com exclusively how Priyanka's stand out look was put together:
"Priyanka Chopra has not worn a Fuchsia Pink for a long time. I personally feel that jewel tones like deep reds, greens, blues and pinks look great on her. Her last two appearances have been a beige white and gold Herve Leger and a white Victoria Beckham so we decided to break that with a pop of color. The style was also very very different from what she's worn before."
"I was very happy with the final outcome and yes she carried it of with style and aplomb," Ami added.
